Radioactive Weasel?

Radioactive Weasel is the brainchild of  John C Boyer, Born out of his love for Cinema and storytelling.  As a Child, John and his friends would often make TERRIBLE movies with an old Black and White video camera which had to be tethered to a Sony Betamax VCR by a 30 foot cable.  The results were a lot of Films set in his living room, or on his back porch.   Such unseen masterpieces include "The Story of the Sword",  "Master of Kung Fu" and "The Ghost Dance".   As he got older, John went on to assist with other indie films created as entries into contests and festivals before deciding to create "Radioactive Weasel Entertainment", the name for which was derived from a motivational cartoon:  "Radioactive Mafia Weasel"  that he created on the whiteboard for his employees during his stint as a store manager for a trendy goth shop.  The Comic focused on a Super powered Weasel in a Fedora who worked as an enforcer for the mob, who ultimately provided helpful customer service tips.

These are all things that will likely never see the light of day.

OUR STUDIO

Based in the Northwest Suburbs of the City of Chicago, Radioactive Weasel currently shoots all its Primary footage on a Small Prosumer 4k camera.  Editing is done in a variety of applications, but the main tools are Magix Vegas Professional, Reallusion's suite of CGI and Animation Creation software, and Vegas Effects/Post for additional effects and CGI.

And we need to give a shout out to Productioncrate as well, for the stock VFX and Elements we love to use.

Meet Our Team

John C. Boyer

Founder and C.E.O. of Radioactive Weasel Entertainment, LLC, John is the Driving force behind most of the projects taking place at any given time.  His Passion and Vision drive him to numerous projects, which is a polite way to say "He's a Bit Scatterbrained and tries to do too much at once."

Johnny Weasel

Johnny Weasel is the Mascot for Radioactive Weasel, and the Star of the show.

Johnny is in negotiations with the CEO to create his own Animated Series, Radioactive Mafia Weasel.

Alice Boyer

Not Technically an Employee of Radioactive Weasel, Alice is the primary wardrobe consultant and reluctant seamstress of the organization.  She's also the voice of reason, keeping  all things "wildly impossible" out of the productions to ensure that filming goes smoothly.

Brian Hannah

Intern and Lead Fabricator, Brian is an independent contractor who handles numerous aspects of set design, prop and effects fabrication, and has been known to be coerced into playing some small roles and background parts... Usually behind an alien mask or two.
